Personal Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
Lazy Creek Studios is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect personal information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not share (or sell) this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.
Do we want to say this together in unison? “DUH!”
Device Information, Logs, Location
Information may be automatically collected about your connection, such as: hardware, operating system, browser, your location, your IP address, etc. Information that is automatically collected via analytics systems providers may also collect any external page that referred you to this site. Information that is generated by your use of this site may be automatically collected and stored in our server logs. This may include, but is not limited to, device-specific information, location information, system activity and any internal and external information related to Lazy Creek Studios pages that you visit.
Okay, if you didn’t know this, it’s time you understood that every web page you connect to gathers this information. This is nothing unusual…EVERY web site does this!!! (Maybe someone should tell the lawyers…apparently they don’t know this yet.)
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email given below.
In other words, if you don’t want anything to do with Lazy Creek Studios…then LCS doesn’t want anything to do with you! Hopefully, it won’t come to that…but if it does, we’ll honor your request to disolve our relationship.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
We may request information from you on an order form. To buy from Lazy Creek Studios, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.
Not that we have anything for you to buy at the moment…but we are considering offering prints at some point in the future. I do have to find some way to pay for the hosting of this site. If I can bring in a little bit of income with the site, I’ll have a better chance of convincing my wife to keep web hosting in the family budget!
We may use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
This site may share or view aggregated demographic information with our partners. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
Again…can I get a nice big “Duh!” from you here? This means I can prove to an advertiser that I get 200,000+ views a month on my site in order to sell them paid advertising on my site! Honestly, though, do you think I get 200 views a month? Even 2 views a month? After all, this is just a hobby.
And yes, I get at least 200 views a month…they are all from me.

We were told to warn you about other sites…but really, you’re not stupid…I know that…but…lawyers, you know.
